I have exactly the same problem. Check in your BIOS if the Intel Management Engine (ME) says N/A. I think that’s the problem and I do not find how to fix it.
If your Intel Management Engine is OK then just upgrade your BIOS and your ME to the latest version and that should fix the problem

I could not find any other jumper in the red ring.
First you need to check in your BIOS if the ME is not available. I have a Z230 so it is different from your 8300.
In page 30 you can find how to disable AMT/ME
In page 307 you can find some other AMT info. (I am gonna try this when I get home, the Ctrl+P thing)
My problem is still unresolved.
I expect a new defective computer to come. The BIOS version 2.18 on the motherboard, I will try to do the upgrades one by one, I did not fix the problem directly when downloading 2.71. I write the result.

Sup every one, the way to fix that persistent 2234-heci error is reflashing your bios via epron, not via windows, on prodesk 600 g1 works for me. and u just need to erase and rewrite the chip, cheking its integrity. That gave me problems to rewrite the chip in ep programmer.
I hope that help. my problem is just solved, and i tryed to update and downgrade bios via flash on windows with hp program (sp4324xx archives) and nothing solved.

Пробовал перезагружать комп, запускать от адма, антивурус выключать, не помогает! Ну я так понял тут проблема какая то в cfg файле. Но как то можно его восстановить или нет?
Старый винчестер, сыпется потихоньку. Файл конфига попал в битый сектор и соответственно не читается.
Попробуй переименовать файл WoTLauncher.cfg. Например в «WoTLauncher123.cfg»
И в лаунчере запустить, в настройках «Поддержка» > «Проверить и восстановить целостность игры».

Es gab im letzten Herbst den Sicherheitshinweis, das Intels ME für Böses missbraucht werden kann.
Kurz darauf gab es Sicherheitsupdates von verschiedenen Herstellern. nicht dass das bei dir zu diesem Effekt führt.

Ja das habe ich auch mitbekommen. Vllt hätte ich nicht auf das aktuellste bios updaten sollen bzw ist da vllt etwas schief gelaufen. Denn mit der Version davor gabs keine Probleme. Leider weis ich auch nicht zu 100% ob’s an dem osx Update oder an dem rumprobieren mit dem Ethernet oder eben am bios Update (ein paar Tage zuvor) lag. Ein Versuch wäre es wert einen neuen Chipsatz einzulöten, und zu schauen ob es das selbe Problem mit dieser bios Version wieder gibt. Chipsatz kostet eh nur 18,50€ und ne infrarotlötstation hab ich ja zufällig auch da 
Wäre aber allerdings auch der Hit wenn ein Sicherheitsupdate mein Mainboard geschrottet hat oder?
Gibt es hier einen neuen Stand der Dinge? Würde mich mal interessieren ob sich das Problem hat lösen lassen.
stand der dinge ist dass ich im internet recherchiert habe und rausgefunden habe dass ich es nicht fixen kann, ausser ich löte einen neuen Chipsatz ein oder ich schicke das board weg. anscheinend gibt es aber Leute oder auch der hp technische service die das flashen können. habe noch nicht rausgefunden an wen das board gehen müsste um das zu flashen. würde mit denen gern mal quatschen. aber ich denke ich werde einen neuen Chipsatz auflöten da ich für solche arbeiten ausgestattet bin und das kein problem ist und ein Chipsatz 18,50€ kostet
im moment werkelt ein neues board drin und das alte liegt rum
End of POST HECI failure
I got this message at start up of my HP Compaq 8200 Elite CMT PC:
So I went to HP’s website and looked for BIOS updates. Didn’t find a updated BIOS that match my BIOS version. So I went in to the BIOS on my workstation and decided to run a DPS Self-Test and that completely failed & recommended drive replacement. I looked up the Completion Code 121 and couldn’t find anything on that.
Does anyone have any suggest?
From what I’ve been able to gather, that particular issue is related to corrupted BIOS/BIOS settings. The troubleshooting methods recommended by HP can be found here. In short however, the recommendation is to reset the CMOS, re-flash the BIOS with the newest available BIOS, and then the newest Firmware as well if issues persist after CMOS reset and BIOS re-flash. If issues still persist after that, it’s a faulty Mobo per HP.
