Hello, I just got the game and I get this error every time I launch it, regardless of mode initiated. Can anyone help? Already tried to verify, reinstall, copyover files from another computer. Nothing works 🙁

and then verify your installation of ARK via meny option

It seems that you have or not have something in your system preventing the game to launch.

ok well a 1060 is decent and should work well, so it may not have anything to do with the GPU.
but it is odd that dxdiag doesnt recognize this card and may well be the issue somehow. did you look under Display tab in dxdiag?
edit: another thing to try is to rollback your drivers (if you have the latest) or upgrade them. be sure to get them from nvidia geforce official website here http://www.geforce.com/drivers
but this wont help if your still using the Integrated gpu so you need to resolve that first (if its there ofc)

i did the steam help then steam info and it does recognize my gpu and my gpu is plugged into my monitor.
i also updated my drivers to the latest version, so far it doesnt seem to work 🙁
i guess i gotta reinstall the game and see if it works then
graphics card or the 8 gigs of ram, might be bale to run in low memory mode

You need to verify your installs, and delete your local profile. One of those two things is causing it 😛

what do you do when there aren’t any saved local profiles? i have yet to get the game to play. it plays the music for about 5-7 seconds and the pops up the assertion failed window.
