S ince the BIOS update, when starting the computer, I have a message that appears, attached the error.
Model PC : LENOVO V530-07ICB DESKTOP
Model HARD DISK : SSD SAMSUNG MZVLB256HAHQ-000L7 (M.2 DRIVE)
I found this article dating back to 2016, is it still relevant?
The reference of my PC and the hard drive is not the same.

This type of problem/error may occur due to some incorrect or failed installation or uninstallation of software. A simple fix is to load default settings in BIOS. To do that, access BIOS first by pressing F1 when you get that message then press F9 or Fn + F9 to load default settings and save and exit by pressing F10 or Fn + F10. Update us how it goes.

We are having issues applying Thinkcentre M93z BIOS update. The update itself completes successfully but the following reboot produces the error:
“Press F1 to enter Setup, F2 to resume”
At this point it doesn’t matter how many times you press F2 you always receive the same error during POST. The workaround has been to enter the BIOS and press F9 then F10 to save and exit. Once this has been done the machine boots without displaying the 0162 error. If we were manually walking around updating the BIOS on each machine it would be less of an issue but since we are carrying out the BIOS updates via SCCM, visiting each machine is not an option. It doesn’t matter if you apply the BIOS manually or via SCCM, you see the same error. For reference we are updating to the latest BIOS revision: FEKT50AUS.

You don’t need F9, just do F1 then F10.
On the other hand, the new BIOS has resulted in my system being noticably slower. I have an HP that I applied the Spectre fix BIOS update on and didn’t encounter really much slowdown at all. I would be interested in your observations in this regard.
[EDIT: Sorry, I think I upgraded to a different BIOS than you. I upgraded to FEKT9DA. Nonetheless F1/F10 worked for me.]
The work around seems to be to go into bios and switch the bookt order so that the os hardrive iss een first and then reboot.
What advice or alternative solutions can you offer please?
The M93P is using Bios FBKTCYAUS and runing on Windows 10 version 1803.
I did this for like 5 times now but I always get the error whenever I start up the pc. What’s wrong?

Out of nowhere, I suddenly ran across this problem, I tried to start my pc as usual but got this error code
«Error 0162: setup data integrity check failure»

and it work? well sort of. Yes, the pc loaded and I can use it again
but after shutting it down and start it once again the error came back and it always pops up in start up
also my system unit is beeping twice whenever this happens.
How can I fix this? and what is the problem?

Kindly try loading the default BIOS settings to see if that fixes the issues.
— Press the power button to completely shut down the unit.
— Press the F1 repeatedly on startup to enter BIOS.
— Navigate to the «Restart» tab
— Press «Load Default Settings»
— Save & Exit changes or F10.
Please provide more information about your device. The machine type-model number (MTM) from the underside or under the battery is best, but please do not post your serial number which is normally in the same location. We will also be able to confirm that your post is in the proper forum.

As I’ve said, I’ve already tried loading the default BIOS settings, I learn this from the link I’ve provided
but when I start up my pc once again the same error occurs
the steps that you provided just lead me to windows booting safely
after shutting down or restarting, the error always occurs at the start up

My PC randomly shuts down and then reboots into this error. I have the Lenovo ideacentre Y900-34ISZ. I’ve had it for almost 2 years and it’s been doing that for 2 years. Warranty tried fixing it but it started doing it again after a while. I’ve tried changing cables, googling the problem and doing anything I can, I’ve ran tests but everything comes back as normal. It does this completley randomly, sometimes going for weeks without crashing and then crashing twice per one day. It’s not triggered by anything so I’m at a loss. I don’t know what to do, anyone have any suggestions what’so’ever? I’ve read that updating my BIOS could be an option since I have the O35KT19A but I haven’t updated a BIOS before and I don’t want to mess anything up + it seems like there’s no official update to the BIOS from lenovo since 2017
Also the computer does 2 loud beeps. I’ve got MSI Afterburner installed with a custom fan curve. Is it possible that Afterburner is messing with something somehow?
