Перекинул железо на новый корпус. При старте вижу вот это 512-Rear Chassis fan not detected F1 : Boot. На материнку карлсон подключен. Как лечится?

Сброс биос не помогает.

А что, кроме корпуса, еще изменилось в конфигурации компьютера?

Кроме вентиляторов и корпуса ничего. Этот вентилятор (с подсветкой) на который жалуется (на задней стенке, который на мамку подключается). Ошибка указывает что нет вентилятора на задней стенке, либо неисправен. И плюс еще два огромных вентилятора с подсветкой (на верхней и передней стенках) в корпусе, с регулятором оборотов. Эти два подключены отдельно к блоку питания.
Причем при перезагрузке ошибка не вылазит. Только когда выключаешь и включаешь.
Да, еще два порта USB 3.0 на передней стенке. Но они не хотят работать, как USB 3.0. Только если через переходник подключить на USB 2.0. Причем задние порты USB 3.0 работают.

Воткнул вентилятор со старого корпуса, с задней стенки. Ошибка не вылазит. Но это не есть решение. Как сделать что бы поставить новый вентилятор о без 512-Rear Chassis fan not detected F1 : Boot?

Как вариант, можно попробовать обновить биос. Хотя, ради вентилятора я бы этого не рекомендовал делать. На передней панели USB 3.0 может не работать просто потому, что те кабели, которые идут от разъемов лицевой панели к материнской плате, не обеспечивают необходимую скорость (не соответствуют характеристикам USB 3.0).

I upgraded a hp 6000 pro sff by changing out the mother board for a hp 636926-001 hp 8200 sff because there was no slot for a graphic card everything booted well but I keep getting an error message 512-rear chassis fan not detected.press F1 to boot.The fan is working great and so is the computer & i did an Bios up grade to V02.29 and when I checked HP help it gave me an answer Pin 10 on front cable connector may need repair but everything was working fine on the hp 6000 MBoard I checked all conections but can’t find a problem any Ideas or was down loading the Bios upgrade the problem?how can I delete the error message?

Look for a setting to disable the motherboard from trying to monitor that specific «chassis» fan.
Once it is set to «ignore», the error-message will not be produced.
F10 doesn’t give an option and I think HP has bios blocked from entry

As soon as you turn the computer on, is there any white-coloured text on the bottom row(s) of the screen, showing which F-keys do which function? Or, do you need to immediately press ESC to view that text?

Did you purchase the new motherboard directly from HP, or did the previous owner «block» it, with a password?
Sorry yes this is a refurbished board the bios is not blocked that I know of but F10 takes you to the Hewelett Packard set-up menu not the Bios to do the changes you suggest is there another way to get Bios set-up because the HP setup utlity has nothing like that my understanding is HP will not allow acess directly to the BIOS Paul and I discussed that in an earlier post for another situation

Whatever HP names their motherboard «configuration utility», I would hope that it allows enable/disable of the monitoring of a chassis fan, and to change other settings, such as «if the power goes off, and comes back, the computer should either STAY OFF or RESTART», or «schedule this computer to automatically power-on at 2 AM on every Sunday, so that a RAT (Remote Administration Tool) can push updates», or «disable integrated video if a PCI-E video-card is added».
What does F10 allow you to set?
Of course, if you install a working chassis fan, the error-message should not be produced.

There hard to mix up the CPU fan conector is right at the front right under the CPU fan so no they are not mixed up tks

Can you pull the chassis-fan from that other system, and connect it to the «bad» motherboard?
The rear chassis fan is in the power supply so all I would be doing is exchanging power supplies?

Therefore, I cannot oblige.
Usually, the «rear-chassis-fan» has a 3-wire cable to the power-connector labelled «chassis» on the motherboard.

the CHFan2 connection is not used in this application as the rear fan is power by the main power supply(white 4Pin)above it
But the BIOS settings have enabled the motherboard to check that connection, and so the error-message is generated, because nothing is connected.
As an «experiment», temporarily connect a chassis-fan to that CHFAN2 connector, and reboot, to see if the error-message is still produced.
ok I just happen to have one I’ll have to wait as I;m running HP system check from the support down load page it says the system board is good it was the first test I ran

немогу оптимизировать железо,приходится нажимать F1 чтобы винда начала загружатся,это напрягает,подскажите куда надо заити чтобы оптимизировать железо,мож знает кто
попробуй сбросить настройки,не пробывал?
я установил другой проц,перед этим сбросил настройки биоса,теперь и приходиться жать постояно F1
дело вроде в дисководе что не подключен,но в биосе стоит, либо говорит что нет в системе IDE дисков, и нажмите ф1 для продолжения либо не подключена клава и опять таки нажмите ф1

отключи флопик в биосе и все.
и тут напиши либо правда что советует сим сделай
зайди в биос и нажми F10 и ок, должно помочь
знакомая проблема) долго это штукой страдал но как то раз собрался и натыкал всё в подрят в бтосе и вот больше нету косяков не каких
vic82, что написано перед F1? у меня похожая проблема была.
Для начала. Что за матплата и процессор. попробуйте обновить биос. что именно пишет когда просит нажать F1
и тут напиши либо правда что советует сим сделай
воть что пишит при загрузки
это не помогает с помощью это кнопки я захожу а потом и выхожу из биоса и всё по прежнему

Возможно. Если человек поменял проц на более мощный тогда необходимо выйти на сайт производителя мат.плат и глянуть версию БИОСа и список поддержки процев, исходя с инфы и прошивать или нет.
Vic82- попробуй скинуть по дефолту
Ф6-загрузка значений всех пораметров для увеличения стабильности.
Ф7-загрузка значений всех параметров для увеличения быстродействия.
После изменений жмеш Ф10 и ОК ИМХО

Am in big trouble.Long days back my HP Eliteone 800 g1All in One started giving 511- cpu fan not detected error and I found that it was really not moving while rear chassis fan aside of it(as they both are on the same unit)was rotating smoothly.So I changed the entire fan unit.It worked hardly for 3-4 weeks and recently the pc again has started flashing 512-rear chassis fan not detected error and 511-cpu fan not detected errors.I doubt if this is an bios related issue.Please share the remedies if you have encoutered the same prolem.
before you think the worst, please try replacing the fan and then let us know if this did not work
note: cheap fans or a fan not designed for the system can have short lifespans the HP fan is a very high quality «MagLev» type fan
Hi friends..happy new year..
same issue has occured in another identical model at workplace here..i have found third such in 7 months..is there any firmware update issue..as of now we have made one system up by changing the fan unit..what about the others..they may work after replacing the fan..but i am really tired of finding the root cause..too much hopeless..i am opting for at least the technical reason..what is causing the fans to fail?meanwhile i also have tried the bios update..it was successful but failed to bring the solution..in vain!is it so that the fans are failing after a certain life span as we have purchased these system almost around same time.
