I’m one of the many suffering from crash issues and now this problem not being able to launch so I can crash randomly lol. It really sucks balls. I’ve had such a ball ache with R* tickets about the crashes and now this! Think its time to give up on GTA5!

Oke guys i fixed mine.

I’m pretty sure what i did. Why i say that is because i just tried weird stuff and i didnt expect it would work so i didnt really take it seriously but i think i know what i did.

1. open GTA5
2. When rockstar club sign in page pop up where the issue showing «An instance. »
3. Open task manager close all appliciation that has to do with GTA5
4. It should give you an error on rockstar club application when you try to close it in task manager then click «ok»
5. When all application that has to do with GTA5 is closed.
6. Launch GTA5

Кому интересен перевод ошибки? Окно с предупреждение сообщает: “Ошибка запуска. Копия приложения уже запущена”. Причин тут несколько:

Если дело в зависшем процессе – откройте Диспетчер задач (Ctrl+alt+Del) или клик ПКМ на панели задач – “Диспетчер задач”. Находим процесс TruckersMP, нажимаем правой и выбираем “Завершить процесс” или “закрыть задачу” в зависимости от версии операционной системы.

Поскольку ошибку вызывает зависший процесс – самый простой способ перезагрузка ПК. После перезагрузки сначала запускаем Steam, а потом пробуем запустить лаунчер игры, саму игру.
Если процесс зависают каждый раз тут лучше перестраховаться и поступить как советуют на форумах и переустановить лаунчер.

Everytime i try to open gta 5, the rockstar launcher will say that the game is already running but its not. I tried everything, restarting my pc, still nothing works. With or without mods, it still does the same.

Are you opening the launcher yourself, and running the game from there?

If so, try not doing that. Just open Steam, and click the «play» button for GTA V there.

Try uninstalling just the launcher, and then clicking play in Steam again. It should automatically bring up the menu to re-install it, and then afterwards the most you should have to do is re-login to your Rockstar account and fill in a captcha, and then it should just launch into the game.

The login is saved, so anytime you click «play» in Steam after that it’ll just auto-login and go right to the game.

Launching from Steam is *never* supposed to bring up the Rockstar launcher’s own actual main menu, FYI, but it’s possible that manually opening it yourself when the Steam version is installed (which I don’t think you’re really supposed to do) messes something up.
