5. Закройте фоновые приложения

6. Убедитесь, что ваша операционная система обновлена

2/ ИГРА НЕ ЗАПУСКАЕТСЯ И ВЫДАЕТ СООБЩЕНИЕ ОБ ОШИБКЕ
Detroit: Become Human для ПК не поддерживает графические процессоры Intel (они не дотягивают до минимальных системных требований).
Это сообщение об ошибке выдается в том случае, когда для игры Detroit: Become Human требуется более новая версия драйверов. Их можно загрузить с сайтов Nvidia или AMD (в зависимости от производителя вашей видеокарты):
3/ МОЯ ИГРА ВИСНЕТ, И Я ПОЛУЧАЮ СООБЩЕНИЕ ОБ ОШИБКЕ
Появление этого сообщения об ошибке означает, что в игре произошла непредвиденная ошибка, приводящая к сбою. После нажатия OK и выхода из игры вы сможете снова запустить игру без каких-либо проблем. В противном случае свяжитесь с нами.
4/ В ОПРЕДЕЛЕННЫЙ МОМЕНТ ИГРА НАЧИНАЕТ ПОДТОРМАЖИВАТЬ, ПОСЛЕ ЧЕГО ЗАВИСАЕТ или ИГРА ДЕМОНСТРИРУЕТ ТРИ ОДНИХ И ТЕХ ЖЕ КАДРА, ПОСЛЕ ЧЕГО ЗАВИСАЕТ (только для графического процессора Nvidia)
Если параметры графики выставлены выше тех, что были заданы автоматически, это может привести к перегрузке памяти видеокарты. Понижение параметров графики и разрешения игры в меню «Параметры» должно предотвратить возникновение этой проблемы.
/!\ Предупреждение: Видеокарты с менее чем 3 ГБ видеопамяти более подвержены перегрузке памяти и не соответствуют минимальным системным требованиям.
5/ В ИГРЕ НАБЛЮДАЮТСЯ ГРАФИЧЕСКИЕ ИСКАЖЕНИЯ (только на моделях AMD Radeon VII / Vega / 5700XT):
На некоторых графических процессорах AMD (модели Radeon VII, Vega и 5700XT) во время игры могут наблюдаться некоторые графические искажения (имеющие форму треугольника).
В настоящее время AMD занимается решением этой проблемы, но мы еще не можем сказать, когда она будет исправлена.

6/ ПОСЛЕ ЗАМЕНЫ ГРАФИЧЕСКОГО ПРОЦЕССОРА AMD ИГРА СТАЛА РАБОТАТЬ НЕСТАБИЛЬНО ИЛИ МЕДЛЕННЕЕ, ЧЕМ РАНЬШЕ (ТОЛЬКО ДЛЯ ГРАФИЧЕСКИХ ПРОЦЕССОРОВ AMD).
Если после замены графического процессора AMD игра стала работать нестабильно или медленнее, чем раньше, удалите файлы VkPipelineCache.bak и VkPipelineCache.bin из папки «ShaderCache», расположенной в каталоге установки игры, после чего попробуйте запустить игру снова.
7/ Я НЕ МОГУ ЗАПУСТИТЬ ИГРУ И НЕ ПОЛУЧАЮ СООБЩЕНИЕ ОБ ОШИБКЕ
В этом случае попробуйте отключить любое программное обеспечение, которое может взаимодействовать с игрой, тем самым предотвращая ее правильный запуск; это самая распространенная причина данной проблемы. К таким программам относятся, например:

Detroit: Become Human до сих пор не работает на ПК с видеокартами NVIDIA
Многие проекты студии Quantic Dream, являющиеся эксклюзивами для консолей PlayStation, спустя некоторое время добираются до персональных компьютеров под управлением операционной системы Windows. Последний пример – приключенческая игра с элементами интерактивного кинематографа Detroit: Become Human. Версия для ПК на ОС Windows вышла ещё в 2019 году, но, как сообщает издание Hardware Times, до сих пор игра не работает на компьютерах с видеокартами компании NVIDIA.

Специалисты протестировали Detroit: Become Human в системах с графическими ускорителями GeForce RTX 2080 Ti и GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER. Обе видеокарты поколения Turing способны предложить высокий уровень производительности, но проблему это не решает. Игра вылетает либо на экране загрузки, либо спустя несколько минут после этого.
Новые видеокарты NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070, GeForce RTX 3080 и GeForce RTX 3090 поколения Ampere тоже не способны полностью устранить неполадки. При использовании ускорителей серии GeForce RTX 30 сбои наблюдаются реже, но время от времени в игре всё равно случаются зависания, после которых работа Detroit: Become Human прекращается, а пользователь видит перед собой рабочий стол.
Что примечательно, никаких подтормаживаний, вылетов и других ошибок в игре не наблюдается, когда графическая подсистема представлена ускорителями AMD. В частности, специалисты из Hardware Times протестировали Detroit: Become Human на компьютере с видеокартами Radeon RX 6800 и Radeon RX 6900 XT.

Напомним, что ПК-версия Detroit: Become Human появилась изначально в Epic Games Store в конце 2019 года. Спустя полгода игра добралась до магазина Steam. В августе 2020 года Quantic Dream официально заявила, что продажи превысили 5 млн копий. При этом версия для PlayStation 4 за 16 месяцев разошлась тиражом свыше 3,2 млн копий.

Mikhail, 445.87 этот же драйвер решал проблемы с игрой, в том числе и с ошибкой VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST у меня, как и у большинства, тут больше ничего не могу подсказать. Кто-то писал, тут-же: попробовать качество текстур выставить Низкие, а остальные настройки вроде ни так влияют на проблему с игрой именно на драйверах после 445.87. По шерсти просторы интернета. Даже задай вопрос разработчикам игры. Опиши им ситуацию и характеристики ПК. Может помогут!

Ошибка vk_error_device_lost в Detroit Become Human является крайне непростой и неприятной проблемой. Порой ошибка возникает сразу же при запуске, а порой — во время игрового процесса. Чаще всего всё решается полной переустановкой видеодрайверов и, внимание, самой игры.
Воспользуйтесь следующими ссылками, чтобы загрузить актуальный для вашей видеокарты драйвер:

Загрузите утилиту Display Driver Uninstaller (она распространяется бесплатно — скачивайте с любого безопасного места) и полностью удалите текущие видеодрайвера из вашей системы. Затем запустите ранее скачанные драйвера для своей видеокарты и установите их.
Установив свежие драйвера, деактивируйте динамическое суперразрешение (NVIDIA) или виртуальное сверхвысокое разрешение (AMD). Далее переустановите Detroit Become Human и проверьте, будет ли появляться ошибка vk_error_device_lost на этот раз.

Who the hell uses 2GB graphics-card in 2020? Are you aware how irrational
and suicidal that is. If you wan’t to enjoy general gaming, you have to go for a
minimum 4GB one. Even that, is starting to become insufficient.
In about one year now, I reckon 6GB will be the minimum.
Especially when the new consoles arrive.
Besides, this game lists minimum 3GB for the gpu.
No dude, get a 6GB gpu. If your budget allows it. You’ll get nowhere with 2-4GB now

Truth remains: if you want to be future-proof, you should invest into a higher GB card.
But I know not everybody has an economy which allows that
im running a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6gb and also got this error yesterday when playing i know nothing is wrong with my rig as ive been playing fine and on chapter 24 atm, i just rebooted and it hasnt said since

Does your budget allows you to upgrade your GPU? If it does, maybe consider it?
don’t listen to those people. this isn’t an issue with hardware, the game runs fine on 2gb vram cards despite the listed requirements. people with RTX 2080 Ti have been getting this error as well.
there’s no fix for it and this issue has been a thing on the epic games version for 7 months now. quantic dream hasn’t said anything about it, nor did they release a patch to address the issue, and if you check out their support page it just tells you to «relaunch the game».
this is just a horrible PC port and you will constantly get this crash during your playthrough. if this is a dealbreaker for you, you should refund.

So if like me, the demo ran fine you have everything updated but simply wouldn’t even attempt to run the game?
Here is the few things I attempted.
Verify integrity of game files
Made the exe file run as admin
Changed the folder to not read only (both Detroit: Become Human folder and the whole of the common folder located in steam’s folder)
rebooted steam+PC
For those who are interested my PC specs are
i9-9900K
GTX 1060 6GB driver 446.14 *working*.
(It’s from a previous build and waiting for the 3000 series to drop so yes I know its stupid to have that cpu and this gpu together lol).
32GB ram
While writing the above I thought I’d also test the beta drivers. It said what driver version I had and what I was currently going to install. I thought I’d check out the graphicsoptions.json file and found oddly it reported an much newer driver version «446.14». This was before running the game with the new beta drivers.
The new beta drivers claimed I have downgraded and I may get slow performance. Booted up the game and now my game hardly runs. It seems I downgraded and didn’t get the right drivers and I’m quite confused lol. But the game said it needs at least 445.87 or newer (mine was older and worked fine?) and I had installed from the beta one 443.24 from the link provided yet it installed 432.00. I just went back to 446.14 which I didn’t have before or couldn’t get before I dunno wtf’s going on tbh but I had only installed GeForce Experience last night so will report if the 446.14 is working well for myself.
Even more confused it seems the beta updater said I had another driver version *where I got 443.24 from* but it seems I had been running 446.14 the whole time as reported via the graphicsoptions.json file.
Ok so I’ve just got numbers mixed up by the looks of it if your running at least 443.24 your running Vulkan 1.2 Developer Beta drivers. (Feel free to tell me if that’s right or if I’m wrong).
Just a little note, if you use GeForce Experience to get the latest drivers make sure your getting the game ready driver as shown.
I noticed my PC was not running the game as well or so I thought. Remember when you update drivers (not sure if this applies to AMD users) but for Nvidia users, make sure your telling your PC to use the GPU for PhysX and such to use instead of having it on auto.
So you may need to also do the things I mentioned just above but it worked as soon as I did this..
Type in DirectX June 2010 into google (or even DirectX June) and its normally the first link that says
«Download DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010) from. » click on that and you should see a screen like this.
Download it, run as admin then tell it to install anywhere.
It then places a whole bunch of DirectX files into a folder, simply look for the «DXSETUP.exe» and run as admin.
This will install all files your PC may not have, it will not remove or break anything DirectX related or anything for that matter.
Once its installed, hit finish you can clean up and delete the folder the DirectX installer created for you, all the files needed are installed.
«If this error message is displayed, it means that the game has encountered an unexpected error, resulting in a crash. After pressing OK, and having quit the game, you should be able to launch the game again without issues. If it is not the case, please contact us.»
I found the link was broken when following the link but if you type in «nvidia vulkan-driver» into google, it should be the first one and it goes to the link listed so not sure why it doesn’t take you to the page when the URL is the same.
